The tractor fabrication process was a frustrating, yet fulfilling experience. The drivetrain was mainly constructed from laser cut and hand belt sheet steel and milled aluminum. Pieces were attached by welding together and being bolted in. Throughout the process, we all learned that things never go as planned and a lot of pieces had to be adjusted to make work for the structure. The drivetrain will slide into the overall tractor by removing the front casters to replace with the final front wheels. Pictures can be seen below of the fabrication process.
