Description -
Level 3, also known as the ''Electrical Station'' is the 3rd Level of the Backrooms. Featuring a typing Electrical Station, the level features, large sprawling hallways featuring rust pipes, dimly lit areas, fluorescent lights, exposed wires, complex machinery and randomly segmented rooms. Level 3's layout remains the same thought the entire level, the level has been known to, similarly to Level 2, be un-bearably warm with temperatures throughout the level passing 95 degrees F (34 degrees Celsius). The Wires themselves can be hazardous due to being exposed and harming un suspecting wanderers. The level, as mentioned has randomly segmented rooms with no clear purpose, rooms with no lighting at all and rooms with rusty prison bars appear thought the level commonly. Due to the extreme heat approaching 135 degrees Fahrenheit (43 Degrees Celsius), the level to this day, has not been fully mapped. It is advised to not go to any Electrical rooms as the wet floor combined with exposed wires can make it a lethal experience for the wanderer.
The most common type of room on Level 3, making up around half of them. It typically consists of a very basic concrete design and looks like the hallway it connects to. It is almost exclusively found in the factory section of the level, although it is sometimes found in the prison section as well. Despite the name, these rooms typically aren't empty, and commonly have boxes inside with items that could be useful to wanderers. The items are left by other wanderers, and it is a tradition in many groups to leave an item behind when taking one that is of equal or higher value, unless in an unfortunate situation.
Level 3 shares a lot of similarities with previous levels. The layout of levels 2 and 3 are common due to the pipes, un-bearable temperature and out-of-place machinery. Explored parts of Level 3 are usually occupied by a community or organization. despite being highly dangerous and some parts being in-accessible, Level 3 is a great source for survival objects such as Almond Water, Royal Rations, and Very Rarely Level Keys.Any Other object you find such as knives, pistols or flashlights are most likely dropped items from another wanderer.
The Temperature of Level 3 can sometimes make water and gas in those area to boil, making it significantly harder to breathe. Most of the time, this means the that machinery in that area has been rusted, lost to time and it will probably explode.
