The Rebellion is any organized resistance to the Ascension or our other plans in Walker Creek County. There has been consistent minor rebel activity in the form of the WCR, but only major resistance in 1955, 1972, 1988-1989 and 2019-Present when they were able to rapidly increase membership. Rebellious activity has included TV and radio hijackings, murdering Hosts, infiltrating restricted areas, theft of our property, and attempting to ruin specific plans, mainly the Harvest Festival.
The 1955 Rebellion began with Louise Peterson infiltrating The Home and recruiting others to her cause. They killed Hosts they knew for certain were not human, and broadcasted pirate signals from the home of William Thames.
The 1972 Rebellion began after the Bankruptcy of 1972, with certain already suspicious people with nothing to lose attempting to fight against us. They had remembered the 1955 broadcasts and wanted to carry on the legacy. They was stopped within a week.
The 1988-1989 Rebellion began with David Trenson witnessing someone undergoing the Hosting Process. They participated in the same activity as the 1955 Rebels. At one point, they used the Warehouse Lot as a meeting place. They carried out several attacks over their two period, but information about them is currently off-limits.
The 2018-Present Rebellion began with Nathaniel Topas. After this, he was able to find remaining rebels from the 1988-1989 Rebellion, and participated in the same activity as the other two rebel groups. The current rebellion has carried out several attacks, including the 2019 Harvest Festival attack, 2020 Harvest Festival leak, 2021 Observatory Attack, and 2021 Mayors Office attack, as well as many data breaches caused by the hacker, "SANDERS".
