William Thames was a resident of Walker Creek County and a member of the 1955 Rebellion. As a close friend of Louise Peterson, he helped start the first rebellion after her experiences in The Home. He participated in several raids to steal technology meant for the Walker Creek Broadcast Station, in order to hijack the station and send their own broadcasts. His home was used for the storage and use of this equipment and is shown in both of the 1955 Broadcast Hijackings. He is speculated (but not confirmed) to be the speaker in the September 16, 1955 broadcast.
