The 1955 Broadcast Hijackings, carried out by Louise Peterson's rebel cell, occurred in September to October 1955. After learning of the Ascension and successfully infiltrating The Home, Louise Peterson was able to assemble a small human group and attempted to spread awareness about our kin. This was largely unsuccessful.
There were only two hijackings by her group. The first, on September 16, was a male member of her group, William Thames, making a speech. On the day of the 1955 Harvest Festival, October 23, the second broadcast was made, in which she spoke to warn the humans about our plans on each Harvest Festival.
The hijackings in this situation were carried out by stealing technology from the Walker Creek Broadcast Station and sending a pirate signal to our Broadcast Tower from several miles away, in the home of one of the rebel members.
