5.2 Communities of Practice

Communities of Practice are groups of individuals that voluntarily join together around specific topic areas. They are a great source of information and ideas around specific topics.

The SUNY System (State University of New York) has a community of practice that shares information, events, and resources from campuses across the SUNY System. From their about section:

"This Community of Practice is where knowledge, research, and experiences using tools of mixed realities can be shared. It is intended for people interested in using Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality, and Extended Reality (AR/VR/MR/XR) to collaborate to improve teaching and learning in Higher Education.

We encourage you to contribute, share content, ideas and experiences. Invite your colleagues. You may invite practitioners from non-SUNY institutions as well."
