Sabre Team

What is Sabre Team?

Sabre team is a ceremonial unit that perform in formal events where cadets are expected to perform drill alongside basic and advanced sabre movements.

Why Join?

Being apart of Sabre Team is an exciting extension of the discipline, teamwork and leadership skills learned in class. This team is relatively new and is compromised of select cadets willing to reestablish Sabres as a noteworthy addition to VNHS.

When are practices?

During school in person: 3:00- 4:00 or 5:30 on Monday-Friday

During Virtual Learning: 3:00- 4:00 Mondays & Thursday on Zoom (subject to change)

"Hi I’m C/SGT Raina Marangattu! I’ve been in the Sabre Team for about 1 ½ years and now I’m serving as the Sabre Team Commander. Sabre Team has always been more than a team and has been much more like my family. I hope to continue providing a nurturing environment and provide leadership opportunities tailored to build greater leaders."
