Being apart of Color Guard is an exciting extension of the discipline, teamwork and leadership skills learned in class. Unlike other special teams, Color Guard is a pivotal role in honoring tradition and paying respect to those serving, both present and past.
Message from the Commander
"Hello I’m C/SSG Yarictza Alcaraz! I’ve been in Color Guard for 2 1/2 years. Being in the team has helped me step out of my comfort zone and gain a lot of confidence. As the Color Guard Commander I hope to achieve many goals and advance as a team. During school in person: 3:00- 4:00 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
During Virtual Learning: 3:00- 3:30 Tuesdays and Thursdays
ACDC (All City Drill Competition), Golden Bear, Awards Night, Parades, and other miscellaneous events.
