PDN and Slammer Circuit
Goal
Goal
In this lab we built a slammer circuit which will draw fast transient current from the Power Rail. When there is a sudden current drawn on the power rail, current flows through the inductance of the power rail. The dI/dt through this inductance causes a voltage drop. This is a serious kind of noise which can be reduced by using a decoupling capacitor.
