Maglite Solitaire
The Maglite Solitaire is the slimmest flashlight that uses a single AAA battery, with an output of only 2 lumens. It is designed to be attached to a keychain.
After the introduction of the D-Cell and C-Cell Maglite flashlights in 1979, Maglite subsequently released models using AA and AAA batteries. The Solitaire was first introduced in 1988.
This flashlight is quite dim in brightness. However, if purchased as a novelty item, the Solitaire can be an enjoyable flashlight to own.
Like the Maglite AA, the Solitaire features a twist-head switch that allows for beam focusing, and it can be completely unscrewed to use the flashlight as a candle. A spare bulb is also stored in the tail cap.
The Solitaire possesses all the classic Maglite features packed into a very compact form factor. It is an all-in-one flashlight solution.
The Solitaire is very affordable, costing only around $6-7. As a standard Maglite product, it is well-made and can provide an enjoyable experience for those who purchase it as a novelty item.
