Village Council Passes Legislation Creating The Village Record

RUTLAND—Coming soon will be the publication of a new monthly Village newsletter. The Village Record will contain an array of articles and information regarding activities; capital and general improvement projects; community news; grant programs; programs and services; Mayor’s Court cases, hearings and warrants; financial reports; code enforcement violations; police statistics; recreational programs; ordinances and resolutions; and bid opportunities.

The Village Record will be available by a $2.00 per month subscription. Revenue from the subscription fees will be utilized to offset costs associated with the newsletter’s publication.

The Village of Rutland will send mailers to Village residents with subscription forms. Those interested in subscribing to the newsletter may complete the form and return to the address provided.

Those not residing in the Village of Rutland may also subscribe to the newsletter. An online subscription form will be provided.

“The Village Record is designed to communicate important Village news and information in an alternative format for those who do not have access to the Village website or Facebook platform,” comments Mayor Eblin. “I am appreciative to the Village Council for their support in passing the legislation necessary to effect this new program.”

The Village Record will be published once monthly and mailed to those who have subscribed to its issues.
