THE VILLAGE RECORDThe Village Record is the newsletter of the Village of Rutland. Established on January 8, 2024 by ordinance of the Rutland Village Council, the purpose of The Village Record is to enhance the transparency of the Village of Rutland Government and provide regular Village news and information to residents who do not have regular or reliable access to the Village's website and or social media accounts.
The Village Record provides the following information:
Articles of local news pertinent to the activities and events, capital and general improvement projects, grant programs and programs and services implemented by the Village of Rutland.
Public notices as to bills subject to consideration, ordinances and resolutions, public hearings, sale of municipal property and solicitation for materials or services. Public notices required by law to be given will continue to be published in a newspaper of general circulation as defined in section 7.12 of the Ohio Revised Code.
Reports from Village officers.
Published the second Wednesday monthly for the month preceding, except legal holidays, in which case, published the immediately following day by the Office of the Village Clerk-Fiscal Officer, The Village Record is available for a subscription rate of $2.00 per issue, or $24.00 annually. Those having a subscription will receive The Village Record by mail to the subscription address provided. Those desiring to obtain a copy of The Village Record without a subscription may do so by visiting the Office of the Clerk-Fiscal Officer and remitting payment in the amount of $2.00. Subscription renewal forms will be mailed at the end of the subscription cycle.
