This form is to indicate your interest in participating in the University of South Florida Festival of Winds (all grades).
Filling out the form does not guarantee acceptance/participation! USF will make selections and inform the directors, who will in turn inform students/families.
Wind Ensemble students: The VHS Wind Ensemble will travel to USF on Friday, December 6 to perform at the evening concert at the Festival of Winds event. You are eligible to be nominated for the festival, which involves your arranging transportation to Tampa on Thursday, December 5 and home on Sunday, December 8. Essentially, you can do both things, although it may or may not be a good idea.
ONLY FILL OUT THIS FORM TO INDICATE YOUR INTEREST IF YOU CAN COMMIT TO THE EVENT!
USF Festival of Winds: Thursday, December 5 - Sunday, December 8 (these may not be considered an excused absences)
USF Festival of Winds: $380.00 (plus money for some meals & snacks/souvenirs)
This will require the student/family to provide transportation to and from the event
USF takes high school students of all ages
Filling out the form does not guarantee acceptance/participation! USF will make selections and inform the directors, who will in turn inform students/families.
All requests to be nominated will be considered but not all students will be selected. Thank you for your interest!

String students are invited to audition for the Brevard Symphony Youth Orchestra in order to join the organization mid-season! The auditions will be held at Eau Gallie High School on Sunday, January 7 between 1pm-4pm.

The BSYO rehearse regularly on Monday evening at Eau Gallie HS, and will feature two performances this Spring:
Saturday, March 9 at the King Center, opening for the 2pm and 7pm Brevard Symphony Orchestra concerts - this is to celebrate the BSYO's 40th Season, and will feature a composition written especially for the BSYO!
Sunday, April 28 at the Eau Gallie HS Performing Arts Center

Wind Ensemble students: before submitting to be considered for one of these events, please consider the costs involved in addition to our trips to Tampa & Memphis. We cannot offer financial assistance or fundraising opportunities for the USF & FSU events.
Do you wish to be considered for one of the below honor band opportunities? Please consider the following:
