In addition to an Update the game now features also a Stove where you can craft/cook Meat.
Meat and other biologic components can spoil, it will give spoil info directly in game.

There are workbenches on some maps/stations which allow you to craft items manually. Some Workbenches can be found Station even in Peaceful mode!
To craft you just drag the items you need for the production item into the slots:
As of the new Update, crafting is now easier, you just collect the materials needed and click on the desired Item you want to craft at the crafting table!
