This section contains some frequently asked questions regarding VectorMotion.
It depends on how much complexity you need. If you make animations with objects moving by straight lines then it can be sufficient for you. If you need curve-based movements then VectorMotion is not the best choice for this task.
Also, you might want one object follow the position of the other in your animation. In this case there is also no any built-in solution for that: you will animate it frame-by-frame or using interpolation between them. But in any case it will not be automatic. (Programs like Friction 2D have this feature included)
While if your soul doesn't need any of those then go ahead and use VectorMotion for your own good.
Yes and no. Again, everything depends on their complexity. If your logo creation implies using something like Shape builder in Inkscape, then no, it's not the right choice for you as you will demand a lot of boolean operations for this kind of task. And there is no well-known way to undo them. But if you keep copies of the original objects before you apply boolean operation to them, then this issue can be neglected.
You can, but it's not the most effective way of editing them as not only there are not a lot of filters for adjusting images, but also when you decide to do so you have to put the image on the canvas manually by yourself. While in programs like GIMP you get it done out of the box when you import image you need to edit. So to conclude VectorMotion can replace raster editors to some extend.
