Draw textbox
Tap and drag your finger to the opposite side of the textbox.

Change specific text
To change text properties of specific text span in a text box move selection handles to cover just the required part of the text and then apply changes trough Object properties panel.

Snapping settings affect text box placement exactly the same as they affect adding basic shapes.

Text box defines an area which in text is shown. Everything outside is not visible. To fix it, either resize the text box or decrease the size of the text.
