Bangiya Sahitya Parishat Journal, knows as ‘Sahitya-Parishat-Patrika’, was launched in 1894 (1301 B.S.), the very first year in which the Parishat was established. The first editor of this quarterly was Rajanikanta Gupta who was followed among others by renowned scholars like Nagendranath Basu, Ramendrasundar Trivedi, Suniti Kumar Chattopadhyay, Brojendranath Bandyopadhyay, Sajanikanta Das etc. The journal has been publishing important articles on Bengali and Sanskrit Literature for the last 121 years without any break.Rich contributions from distinguished scholars have made it one of the best literary journals in Bengali language.
