Makkala Balaga in Dharwad, a school steeped in 27 years of history, welcomed us with bustling energy as children prepared to greet a team of performers. Dr. Kulkarni, a beacon of wisdom and guidance, introduced us to Sajit and Sujit, our enthusiastic guides for the next hour. Their passion for their school was palpable as they spoke fondly of their teachers and the nurturing environment where they could truly be themselves.
Dr. Kulkarni's philosophy echoed through the halls as he reminded us, "I do not choose the child; anyone in front of me should share our story with strangers. That way, new questions arise, and answers are found."

Our journey then led us to the Gandhi Peace Foundation, where I reminded myself to curb my shopping impulses (as i am jobless now). However, the exhibit of seeds, papads, pickles, and chutneys tempted me, offering a taste of sustainable living. Each bite was a treasure trove of flavors, infused with love and care, leaving me longing for more.
Amidst discussions on literature and theater, Dr. Kulkarni transported us with a captivating story, reminding us of the power of narrative.
As we ventured into the outskirts of the city to Sangama, a sprawling farmland, we immersed ourselves in nature's embrace, guided by Dr. Kulkarni's vision of Swayamdeep Zen Kendra. The mud houses and organic spaces bore witness to 27 years of dedication, shaping a haven for self-discovery.

As we reluctantly bid farewell and sipped chai under the moon's gentle gaze, I realized that Dr. Kulkarni's dreams resonated deeply within me. Though our paths may diverge, our shared dreams will surely converge at the right time and space, just like the selfie we clicked with the moon as our witness.
