Intro to Coding

Coding is another word for computer programming. Coding allows a person to create software for use by others. Creating apps using Code.org's App Lab allows a person to create an app that can be published as an HTML that will run on any smartphone, tablet, or computer. App Lab programming can start as block style programming but also will allow a person to use JavaScript which runs in the background.

Hook

Students will learn the process of designing, creating, sharing, and publish an app. This will start with a "Hello World" type program. After learning the process an student can create and publish a variety of apps.
