Jasmine was sitting in her chair on the bridge when her Commbadge came to life, she tapped it to make the connection =/\= Understood Doctor, get it done =/\= With that she closed the link and looked out at the derelict that was being towed, she wondered what had she done to have to deal with Temporal events like this!
Sometime later Sterling’s Commbadge comes to life.
=/\= Lieutenant Cahill to Commander Sterling you and your Science Team are welcome to join us if you wish. The Science Team could be a lot of help in getting them out of this. Also have other Engineering Section have a second team ready in case we need it for some reason. =/\=

With a shared look both women remained where they were as neither of them were currently needed down in medical.
She taps her Communications Badge again, =/\=Captain the patients are currently stable and we are checking to decide the best way to bring them out of the chambers now. Will know more in a few minutes. =/\=
Tapping her Commbadge again to make the link =/\= acknowledged doctor, Somers out=/\=
Now all that had to be done was wait for the next hail from Cahill giving them an update, Jasmine looks at Sterling.
"So Maia you found out anything from scans of the ship yet?"
"The salvage operation took some time, but the derelict ship was eventually at least partially restored, It turned out that the ESS Nimitz was from another quantum reality and had been drifting for nearly 250 years. The science team is working to discover how that could have happened."
*Pause*
"Meanwhile two stasis pods have been brought on board and Dr. Cahill is working to revive them. Lt Sheela has found the ships recorder, what they used to call a black box. Engineering is working on a way to access the information recorded as most of our equipment is set up for 24th century ODN conduits and EPS taps, The Nimitz still use transistors and solid state circuitry."
“Hmmm well keep on it if you want to take or assign a science team to go over the items the Doctor mentioned feel free to do so” Jasmine said swivelling her chair to face her First officer directly.
- Sickbay –
As they ready Dr Cahill makes additional checks about the patient’s conditions.
Dr Cahill was still in her environment suit but still working. She removed it and stands there with only her bra and panties on while she works. A nurse brings her a lab coat to put on. She dons it quickly and does not miss anything. She notices that the patients are both stable and continues to monitor them.
With that they continue working to finish the job at hand. A nurse walks up to Cahill with a fresh uniform, "Doctor you would not scare them so much when they wake up if you had this on." The nurse said and Cahill smiled and put it on. Then put on her boots, and all the time She is monitoring what is going on with her patients.
The cold was bone-chilling. That’s all there was, just cold, bone-chilling cold. The sounds were distant, voices, machines, electronics, but over all of it was the mind-numbing, bone-chilling cold. Her arms and legs convulsed involuntarily as her lungs eagerly pulled in their first breath in well over two centuries.
All around her they chattered and occasionally she could feel hands on her cold skin. There were assorted words. "Blood pressure", "bleeding, pulse" and many others, but most of the chatter was simply lost to the cold. Then, gradually, she felt something injected into her right arm and the warmth began to spread, pushing back the fog as well as the chills.
Her right eye fluttered open, the left still sealed shut by both swelling and dried blood. Everything was bright white, but there were shadows, figures. She tried to speak, but only it was just a soft puff of air on dry, parched lips.
EMI pulled in a deep breath and held it, closing her eye and counted to ten. When she opened her eye and exhaled, the white shadows were now turning gray and she could almost make out detail. Enough at least to know they were human and not Romulan. She again tried to speak, and this time was able to manage a soft whisper.
Dr Cahill was checking things out, when she noticed something was different the vitals was changing. She turned and started checking out the one that it was happening to. She continued to monitor the chamber and to see the changes.
"Everyone be quite, I got something here." She said then tapped her Commbadge =/\= Captain to Sick Bay. One of our patients is coming out of REM sleep on their own. You and the XO need to join us immediately. =/\=
"Where am I, and more importantly, when?" Oda asked.
Tomoe breathed deeply again, then responded. I am Lieutenant Tomoe Oda, chief armoury officer of the Earth Defence Forces battleship Nimitz. Now I will ask again, how long? What year is it?
"You are on the Federation Starship USS Tomcat, You are in Sick Bay and I am the CMO Dr Alexanderia Cahill. You are safe now, you need to relax. We found your ship the Nimitz due to your distress signal. Our CO and XO are on the way now. Do you know your name?"
"No bull, just the year." Oda was getting a touch frantic as she had just woken up and had not gotten any straight answers just yet.
It was impossible, more than two centuries. Everyone and everything she had ever known, dead and gone.

Sitting up straight Jasmine tapped her Commbadge =/\= Understood Doctor we will be there directly, Somers out =/\= she looked at Sterling and waited till Maia had finished.
Looking at Maia "C’mon Maia lets go welcome our new arrivals into a new reality and a new century" She said excited.
"Good I was hoping you'd say something like that skipper."
They both went down to sickbay together. Maia watched the patient curiously trying to evaluate her.
"Donovan you have the bridge" Was all she said to the recently arrived marine Major who was caught off guard.
"Aye Captain" Was all Donovan could say before Somers and the XO had entered the turbolift and the doors closed.
After a short trip down to the Medical deck both women stepped out onto the Medical level and walked the short distance down to the medical facility, bother entered the same time. Jasmine looks around to see Cahill and a nurse standing over a sitting Asian woman who wore a slightly different style but familiar old uniform and she overheard the questions being thrown at the Doctor, Jasmine let it slide to see how Cahill responded.
The woman looked nonplussed by the date she was given, for her two centuries had passed within a few heartbeats of real time.
"The war. Did we win?"
Walking up to the bio-bed "Perhaps I can help with that! " Jasmine said "Commander Jasmine Somers, commander of this ship you are on the USS Tomcat Akira class light carrier, pleased to meet you and welcome to the twenty-fourth century."
"I am Lt Commander Maia sterling the executive officer." Maia said.
Jasmine could see confusion and bewilderment in the Lieutenants face; she sat on the bed opposite Oda as the second survivor was on the other side still asleep.
"Okay here is what we know, you Lieutenant are from a different reality, I say this because we had no ESS Nimitz as a battleship. Out Nimitz was a Cruiser and an NX class like yours. As for the war in this reality the Allied species won the Earth/Romulan war and our Nimitz was lost before the end of that war. We are still going through your ships black box, all we can ascertain is yours, and your companions behind you and your ship have a different quantum signature." Jasmine paused to allow what she said to sink in.
"What else do you know?"
"We do not know much more than that sorry, but I do have some bad news, out of all the stasis tubes yours and your companion behind you were the only ones still in one piece. I am deeply sorry for all those you knew on the ship lost also I am sorry but there is no way we can return you to your time and your reality. The fact that both of you survived was a feat in of itself. *pause* Okay you have any questions Lieutenant? " Jasmine asked and looked at Cahill "Doctor thanks, could you please check on the other patient? Thanks" She asked.
"Apparently you were in cryostasis for nearly 250 years, so not only are you from a different reality you are also from a different time." Maia added.
"I'd like to visit my ship" Oda said.
Looking at the bewildered Lieutenant “currently the ship has little or no gravity and has large portions exposed to space and you are still not one-hundred percent, why so eager to go back?”
"You don't understand. I need to visit my quarters, even if I have to wear a suit. There is something there that I cannot chance losing."
Tomoe looked from one to the other, her eyes pleading. I've lost everyone and everything I ever knew, please, let me at least keep what little might remain.
“Only if the Doctor clears you to do so, you will need to wear an EVA suit though” Jasmine responded, understanding the need to keep a visible memory life-line open to what one lost.
Maia looked at Captain Somers and shrugged. Then turned to Dr Cahill.
"Is she healthy enough to go Doctor"?
"Perhaps I have an idea Captain, If Lieutenant Oda is willing to assist me from a portable table to open the other cryostasis chamber. Where she knows the equipment better than we do. It would free me up, I could accompany her to the Nimitz and take a security officer with us to allow her to get what she wants to recover."
Looking around the group Jasmine run things through her head at warp speeds oO I so did not need make these choices when I was a marine Oo she thought to herself “Do it but keep vigilance on her, that is if she is able to move and is in reasonable shape!” Jasmine finished.
"She is in really good shape for what has happened and I bet she would love to move around and shake out the stiffness."
“Okay get it done and make sure she is safe Doctor please”
"This would allow me to get a better look at the ship and experience the fantasy of the find for myself. I was so busy when we was there before. Might even get to see the Sick bay there for a few minutes. And who knows Commander Sterling may be interested in going a long too. I bet she is excited and would like to see it first hand herself too.
“Okay you have the green light, make sure there is an EVA suit that she can use and you have my permission to beam over to the ship.” Jasmine confirmed as she saw Cahill pass a PADD over to the out of time El tee.

Cahill smiled, "Captain she is fit as a finely tuned fiddle and I see no problems with it. I would recommend she be on light duty for four or five days to be sure she is okay and has no bad effect from it. And I do have to admit I would love to get a couple of the old medical instruments for my own self. I would love to do some research with them and see how they worked. The Sick Bay is in the same area as the crew quarters she plans to go to."

"Thank you" Tomoe replied.
She passed Lieutenant Oda a tablet to see if she is interested, and saw her smile.
Maia turned to Captain Somers.
"There is only partial gravity on that ship at the moment, so the gravity fields are variable, they will need full environmental suits with gravity boots. The only spot on that ship with breathable atmosphere is the main computer core and engineering. The bridge and crew quarters have not yet been restored. It’s your call captain but I would recommend that she wait. Variable gravity can be very disorienting and in her condition, can be very disorienting".
Looking at Oda closely then to Sterling “I have said she can go, Commander you lead the away team, take the Lieutenant here, the Doctor and one other Science Officer and an Engineer” Jasmine instructed.
"Understood Captain" Maia replied.
With a nod Jasmine left sickbay and got as far as the door and turned back and spoke directly to Oda.
“Good I will see you when you get back” Jasmine said with a smile then moved out of the doors sensors and allowed it to close.
With this done Jasmine returned to the bridge, she stepped into the nearest lift and waited till the doors closed.
“Bridge” while she was en-route she tapped her Commbadge =/\= Somers to Armitage =/\=
=/\= Armitage here Captain =/\=
=/\= Lucy expect a Lieutenant Tomoe Oda to come to you and mention that I have requested to see her, when she does have her enter my Ready Room and contact me =/\=
=/\= Yes Sir, Armitage out =/\=
With the link closed Jasmine exited the lift onto the bridge.
“Lieutenant Oda, when you have finished on the Nimitz and collected what you need, return to this ship and report to me in my Ready Room, my Yeoman will be outside to greet you and let me know you have arrived. Her name is Petty Officer Lucy Armitage despite the human name she is half Bajoran”
"I'll manage fine" Tomoe replied.
"I have no idea what a Bajoran is, but I'll try not to break her" Tomoe replied.
Cahill pulled up a picture of a Bajoran species for Oda and show it to her. "They actually resemble most humanoids. And you will like her too, she is quite nice."
Tomoe looked at the image, but feeling some panic rising at the thought of just how much things had change, she quickly looked away. "Yeah, I suppose."
She looked at Commander Sterling, "I was amazed at what little of the ship I saw and wish I had more time to really explore the entire ship but that will be impossible to do."
"Despite some of the outer hull damage and destroyed port nacelle. The Nimitz has been seriously battle damaged but is more or less intact; you should be able to explore it at your leisure Lieutenant Oda. By our standards she is a museum piece and I'm almost sure they developed along different historical paths. For example in your universe the Federation was never established because the Terrans lost or were losing their first Romulan war. This ship fell through a wormhole though that doesn't seem to fit what we know about wormholes. More study to determine the cause of this phenomenon is indicated. At any rate you're with us. Dr. Cahill whenever you're ready".
"Understood Commander, I will be waiting in the transporter room ready to go in my EVA Suit." Cahill said.
"So that's it then, when can we leave" Tomoe asked impatiently. She made no mention of what it was she wanted to retrieve, but they would soon fin out as there really was no hiding an ancient Japanese katana.
She looked at Commander Sterling, "I was amazed at what little of the ship I saw and wish I had more time to really explore the entire ship but that will be impossible to do" Oda said.
"15 minutes that should give us time to get into EVA suits and beam over. Follow me." Maia said.
