- SS Last Hope – 2 Months before Tomcat’s Launch -

Earth Space Dock, Green Sector 3, Transporter Room 6 - 0600

As Akachi materialised, she heard a beep and then =/\= Lieutenant, this is Marine Liaison Officer Roberts, can you please make your way to the nearest transport and beam to Space Dock please. =/\=

Akachi reached up and tapped her badge =/\= This is 2nd Lieutenant Ngozi, I’ve already made my way up to the station, where do you need me to go?=/\=

A few minutes later with Akachi starting to tap her foot. She and the transport chief and at first shared a look at each other over the silence but now she was getting pissed, and was about to make a call to someone in the Liaison Office, when her comm. badge beeped and a different voice came over the comm. lines =/\= 2nd Lieutenant Ngozi, please make your way to Blue Sector, Level 4, Conference room 6 as soon as possible =/\

Akachi double tapper comm. badge and started to make her way to the conference room, that was after asking the transport chief for directions.

- Earth Space Dock, Blue Sector 4, Conference Room 6 – 0640 -

After taking a wrong turn a few times she found the conference room.

Akachi walked up to the door and pressed the door buzzer, but instead of hearing someone say or shout enter, all she got was the door opening.

As soon as she passed the doors threshold a computer voice started talking, “Could 2nd Lieutenant Ngozi please step onto the Holo platform.”

o0What the hell is going on here0o was the thought that shot through her mind as she made her way to the Holo platform. When she step on it the platform it lit up and asked her to confirm her identity, after doing that, a message appeared in mid air, “Connecting…Please stand by” could also be hear coming from somewhere below her.

Then suddenly there was a man standing in front of her in a marine uniform, with the rank of Major on his neck.

Coming to attention, Akachi said “2nd Lieutenant Akachi Ngozi, reporting Sir.”

The man that had appeared said “Sorry I couldn’t make this in person Lieutenant, you are hereby ordered to make your way by best speed to Deep Space 10. There should be a transport leaving your current location in the next few hours for DS 10, I’d recommend you make it.”

Akachi was about to ask a question when suddenly the man disappeared and the words, ‘Recoding finished, do you wish to replay?’

Akachi blink and even though he was no longer on screen she came to attention, said “Aye, Aye Sir” did an about turn and moved off to get her transport to DS 10.

She noticed a wall terminal just before she left the room, after a brief user check she accessed the transport listing for travel and found a SS Last Hope was leaving in about 1 hours time bound for Deep Space 10, in her hurry to make it to the ship she forgot to get the location of the ship.

Akachi tapped her comm. badge “Computer location of SS Last Hope?”

“SS Last Hope is located at Green Sector, Level 1, Docking Port 007” was the statement she got back.

With that she made her way off to the SS Last Hope.
