Season 2 Ep 1 An Old Enemy - Co-incidental Mission

- Flight Deck – USS Tomcat -

Jasmine looks at the departing and with a sigh "Dismissed" She said, then notified Barker to get a shuttle ready and she would meet him down there and then signed off and initiated a site to site transport to the flight deck. She appeared right in front of Barker scaring the hell out of him.

Barker was walking at a clip when he came to a sudden stop under his own power "Blimey Captain, don't do that!" He said shocked.

"Sorry Ensign Jasmine said.

Looking at her with suspicion "Why is Captain Jelan not doing this?" Barker asked.

"he is coping well at helm, I need someone who Lieutenant Sheela does not see as a threat, c'mon lets get onto the shuttle I have some equipment to give you and I need to brief you." She said as both went into the shuttle.

As Barker sat down at the pilots console Jasmine inputted clearance codes and looked at him.

"Wear this and activate it" She said handing him a small portable device he recognized.

"But these personal contour shields are not equipped for such missions with weapons-fire" he said.

"You will not be going into battle, you are the taxi-driver, but Lieutenant Sheela may have other plans that co-inside with her primary mission, so set the controls up with a password only you know so that you can lock it the moment you land, just to remember to unlock it before lift-off, also make it tamper proof and the moment Sheela gets on activate your shield." She said and saw Sheela approaching.

Sheela approached the shuttle that was going to be used, was surprised to see Captain Somers there ahead of her. Then she realized that Somers must've headed there ahead of her while she was getting ready for the mission.

She listened to what the Somers had said. "Iz wouldn't want it any other way." She being of suspicious mind, glanced at Barker taking note of the extra equipment he wore as she moved to take her spot.

"Hello Sheela, just briefing Mr. Barker here on his duty" She said and turned back to him and loudly enough "Okay you are to take Lieutenant Sheela down to Galen IV land one click away from the main complex in the nearest forested area and let her out, You will remain on the shuttle for five hours, during that time Lieutenant Sheela will do the task. Lock the door when she leaves and switch to low power mode, Sheela will let herself in when her task is done. Remember when she returns if she says go in an urgent manner do so and get you back to the Tomcat, understood?" She asked.

"Yes Captain" He said.

Looking up at Sheela "Good luck Lieutenant, the moment your boots hit the ground you are solo, got that?" She asked.

“Thank you Captain and Iz understand

"Good" Jasmine said nodded to them both and exited the shuttle; she stood back and watched the shuttle door close.

- Shuttle Sinbad -

On the shuttle Barker looks at the Mousian "You're cute" He said liking what he saw, then gathering himself "Ahem... sit tight El Tee, it's time we go" he added as clearance was received and he lifted the shuttle off and out of the Tomcat and headed to Galen IV making sure to activate the stealth system. Unless someone was looking out of the window then the shuttle would be blind to all sensors.

Hearing his compliment, Sheela smiled in response. "Yooz handsome to some lucky female. Iz hope yooz know what to do. Follow it to the letter and Iz will be happy."

Sheela settled in her seat and began to finalize her equipment, while Barker was focused on his job. Making sure each of her equipment was where it was suppose to be and ready.

- Galen IV - 1 Click from Center - forested Area -

As he gently set the shuttle down, locked the controls he swivelled to the Mousian as the shuttle went to minimal power and the ramp lowered.

"Good luck El tee you are on your own from here on out, well until you return that is *smiles*, I will be waiting here for you" He said.

She glanced at Barker. "Yooz better be here when Iz return." And she was gone into the surrounding vegetation of the forest. Her dark clothing allowed her to blend with the shadows as she made her way to the base in question.

She moved with purpose and skill, evading the most sophisticated sensors as she activated her *personal cloaking device she wore, becoming invisible to naked sight and scanners.

After a easy cautious approach, she looked over the base surrounding fence. Seeing the Orion's vehicle gate with it's opening into the facility, made way to simple for her to slip past the guards on duty.

Barker watched her leave as she quickly vanished into the undergrowth, with his task done he closes the shuttle up and settles into wait.

- Planetside Compound -

Once inside, she still tuck to the shadows and took the least travelled routes towards her objective. As the other buildings were used as holding pens for the ones chosen for off planet shipping and life of servitude.

She growled softly, but there wasn't much she could do about that right now. That would come later and many lives ruined for the natives.

Hour 2

Sheela moved through the complex as it was simple in design and effective. The building she wanted to penetrate was the busiest one with Orion Sub Leaders coming and going.

She moved around the building, being careful of where she placed her foot. Finding a window that showed a dark room, she began her penetration into the building. Unfortanutely it was just a single story building that was spread out and connected to the Warehouse that held the chosen prisoners for off world slavery.

She carefully cut through the glass, removing the entire pane of glass. Then she entered, letting her eyes get used to the darkness of the room. Seeing it was a residential quarters. She moved quickly through it moving towards the exit.

Ears fully extended as she opened the door a crack to see what lay beyond and listened to the ambient noises. The space was open with offices and quarters surrounding the workstations and computer consoles. Very effective arrangement of security set-up against penetrations.

Leaving the door slightly open a crack, braced the door so it wouldn't move unless forced to open farther. She gave the single room a quick glance over. It was a combination office and quarters.

Moving quickly to the desk, she sat down and bumped the keyboard. The screen flaired to life....

Hour 3

Sheela worked her way through the menus, catching odd glimpse of files as she went through them. A lot of the info was just basic logistics and scheduling of transports for the new slaves to be shipped off world.

She sighed as there was so much to go through, when an odd gem caught her eyes. She opened the file and looked it over. It was an old Orion code mixed in with S-31 algorithm.

She copied the entire file onto her little data storage device to look at later. She moved on to the next set of file. Now knowing what to look for. She uploaded a search program to find and copy the files written in similar fashion.

She got up and moved about the room, checking it out with a non-obtrusive search. But one that would cover all of the places that would be ideal to stash info discs. She found several, which she placed in a clean case, leaving the old one behind in place. ....

Hour 4

Sheela was pressing her luck, when the her case gave a chirp. She moved back to the desk and looked at the computer screen. Her search and download was completed. She disconnected her case from the computer console and shut off the computer.

She glanced at the time and was amazed at how the time had gotten away from her. She ex-filtrated from the room, back to the outside. She began the slow ex-filtration of the base itself.

Once she was clear of the base. Sheela ran back to the ship, taking another route. Coming in from the front of the shuttle to let the pilot know she was wanting back in and it was time to leave.

Shuttle

Hour 4.5

Barker looked back as the shuttle door opened and in came Sheela "Hope you got what you came for Lieutenant" He said as he saw glow lamps a way off in the forest.

Sheela got herself secured in a seat, "let's get back to the Tomcat!" As she began the process in decrypting what she had gotten.

Now that his passenger was secured and working away "we are outta here" Was all he said as he lifted the shuttle off and made directly for the Tomcat.

- Flight Deck – USS Tomcat -

Sheela glanced through the viewport seeing the Tomcat's fighter screen deploy as the shuttle slipped unseen into the open hanger bay. It de-cloaked as it moved to its assigned slot and parked.

As she left, Sheela gave the pilot a soft, "thanks," scampering off the ship with the data in hand. She moved through the ship, inserting earplugs to cut down on the noise of the klaxons blaring.

She scrambled through the ship with a quick stop over in her den and did a quick change of clothes. She looked through the information that was finally decrypted. She scowled as she had pretty much everything needed. It was just a typical blitzkrieg attack. Gain Control and hold till sold to the highest Merchant Consortium for exploitation.

What was interesting was the tech advances on scanner shielding. Someone sold the Orion’s the scanner frequency range that the Federation used.

Sheela smirked as she finished throwing on a black tank top and transferring her Commbadge to it as she grabbed the notes she wanted to share without the extra info. She scampered from her quarters and hit the nearest turbolift "Bridge."
