Welcome to Our Fourth Class Learning Space
Well...almost!
We have just about reached the end of our year together in fourth class. What a year it has been! We would have much preferred to be ending this year with you all, in our classrooms. That wasn't to be this year but as most of you will have seen from the notes sent home with your reports, we will have a day together when we go back to school at the end of August. We can't wait to see you all! There will be lots to catch up on.
Girls, we are so proud of you all and whatever work you managed to complete during this time at home. Well done! And well done to anyone who has been helping and encouraging you at home too. It hasn't been easy. We are not used to doing all our school work at home, but we made the best of it.
We hope you enjoyed the activities that were put up. We enjoyed seeing your pictures and reading your emails.
This week we have added some activities on a page called "Activities June 22 - 30". Here you will find a few things to complete until school is over on the 30th. Take a look! There is even something planned for the WHOLE school, follow the link on the activities page to find out more!
Take care girls. We hope you have a lovely summer. Be safe! Be kind!
We will see you soon :)
Handwriting Competition Winner!
A very well done to Izzah from Ms. Power's class on winning our fourth class handwriting competition.
Pen Licences!
We know that some of you did not receive your Pen Licences yet. We would like to give one now to all the girls who didn't get theirs. You can print off one of the certificates below if you would like but don't worry if you can't, we have told the 5th class teachers that every girl has a licence to write in pen!
Well done Lily Mae on winning the Egg Carton Challenge!! We think that Betram the Crocodile is just brilliant!
Hi girls! We know that most of ye have been working really hard over the last few weeks, well done! For the month of June we are going to take things a little easier... so keep up the work we do give to get ready for 5th class!
Happy birthday to Rachelle Power and Leigha Kinsella! We hope you have a great day!
Staying in touch - Email Database
In an effort to further improve our communication in St. Ursula’s, we’re in the process of creating a database of email addresses. To help us with this, we’re asking every parent/guardian to email their daughter’s class teacher(s) to give them details of the email address that you would like us to use to send you important school messages and updates.
St. Ursula’s School App
We have introduced a school app. Important school updates will be sent through the app. If parents/guardians haven’t already downloaded it, click on the links below to download;

Say Hello to the Birdies
You'll never guess where Mrs. Veale found another nest recently! Check out the Starlings tab for a new photo and video clip. This time, the nest belongs to a Great Tit - a small little bird who also likes to build her nest in a cavity.
Well done to our Sock Puppet Challenge winner, Molly Leacy!
Next weeks challenge is the egg carton challenge. Best of luck girls! We look forward to seeing your creations. The closing date is the 27th of May.
Message from your Fourth Class Teachers
Here is a message from your teachers :) Hit the icon in the top corner instead of the play button. This will open up a new window where you hit play to watch.
How to Use This Learning Space:
We have divided this learning space into different school subjects. Each school subject has its own tab across the top of the page.
1) If you are accessing the website on a laptop, you can click the subject names at the top of this page and it will bring you to the subject that you want.
2) If you are accessing the website on your phone or tablet, you will need to click on the three lines next to Fourth Class at the top of this page and then all of the subjects will appear to you.
Weekly Work
The weekly work tab will provide you with a list of things you can do everyday. It might be a good idea to start here. You can do this work into any copy! :)
