Gather secondary research to support your project, find relevant and recent sources to back your claims with quantitative and qualitative data.

Look for articles, journals or other sources that can support your UX research, it will be especially helpful to find quantitative data supporting the need for your project by numbers and qualitative data proving the desire for your product.
