The student-leaders from the University of Mindanao (UM) participated in the recently-held Asia Pacific Student Services Association x Philippine Association of Practitioners of Student Affairs and Services (APSSA x PAPSAS) 2021 International Conference.
The Council of College Student Governments (CCSG) and Council of Student Organizations (CSO) Officers, led by the Office of student Affairs (OSA) Director Marianne Afrondoza, went on a three-day journey of Student Leadership seminars, and meeting with student-leaders from other Schools and Universities in the Philippines and around the world. Dialogues on how different institutions draft and implement policies, and how the Student Councils deliver student services to the student body in the time of the pandemic.

Overarching the entire event are the 3 V's, Virtual, Victorious, and Virtuous. An experience our student-leaders will be bringing with them for the rest of their lives, virtual dialogues, sharing of insights, and successfully culminating the series of events will surely be applied to the different programs and projects that will be implemented in the university.
The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) hosted a very inspiring, insightful, and productive leadership webinar entitled "LIVING LIMITLESS" with the theme "Leadership and Academic Excellence amidst Challenges" last November 24, 2021 participated by a total of almost 500 student-leaders across UM Branches, Student Organizations (SO), College Student Governments (CSG), and alike.
The International Resource Speaker for this leadership webinar is Ma'am Amy Muranko-Gahan, the Founding Director of Global Impact. With her powerful and inspirational words, student leaders were so astounded and awed. These are the takeaways from the webinar.
