The words that I uttered after I finally got my first dosage of COVID-19 vaccination. At first, I was so anxious and hesitant, afraid of the rumored side effects that are circulating all over the internet. But with enough information from trusted websites, I was able to wrap up my thoughts and even convinced my sister to get vaccinated with me.
On the vaccination day, we’ve arrived at the site witnessing hundreds of people forming a line. Staffs and nurses were also busy with their respective tasks. While waiting for my turn, I can’t help but notice how organized the vaccination flows. Safety protocols were constantly practiced and conflicts were avoided. Time passed, and my turn came. As I sit beside the nurse, mixed emotions directly hit me. It made me stare at something and just wait for the nurse’s injection. After the nurse pulled out the needle, I immediately thought that I wasted my time worrying. I felt nothing but being proud of myself that I finally got vaccinated even though I was so anxious at first.
All of us should be aware of how important COVID-19 Vaccinations are. Aside from it will enormously help lessen the spread of the virus, it will also create fighting mechanisms that can prevent severe illnesses and infections.
As a vaccinated person, all I can say is wipe all your hesitations, replace them with urgent actions. Get your COVID-19 vaccines, and together, let us live without the threat of the Coronavirus!

I was initially wary of the vaccines because of rumors concerning several fatalities during the early onset of vaccine rollout. But then I realized that prevention is preferable to cure. I eventually gave it a shot. I went to the vaccine location, and, like some of you, I was nervous, and I kept on asking myself— “Will I survive? What if I die? What if my body reacts terribly?” Fast forward, nothing horrible happened to me. Indeed, having been vaccinated provided me with some protection against becoming ill.
Some people believe that vaccines are ineffective and maybe satanic. These misconceptions, I reckon, must be rectified. I am confident that Covid-19 vaccines are effective and help build immunity. You might want to consider people getting vaccinated to fight and survive dreadful viruses in the past. Similarly, we can thrive and even live with this one. How could we possibly do that? Simple. Increase your immunity by obtaining a vaccination. Covid-19 is not superior to the previous one. However, some variants may be more dangerous than the original ones. There is no way we can eliminate this one, but we can put up “walls” to resist its impacts on our health and economy. Mind you, folks, we can be safe from Covid-19 only if we fervently pray and have ourselves vaccinated.

Ngiting wagi.
I got fully vaccinated last September and the whole process is as simple as counting 1,2,3. Registration, briefing, health screening, vaccination, another screening, and violaaa! You’re protected!
I was a bit nervous at first but listening to the caring voices of the healthcare professionals during screening and briefing, I felt at ease because everything is discussed. The possible side effects, the to-dos, and reminders are well delivered. I was just so happy because me getting vaccinated means protection for myself, my family, and everyone around me. On the other hand, as active social media users, let us practice prudence in disseminating COVID19 related information to prevent disinformation. The COVID19 vaccine is safe, it’s backed by actual data and science.
During this pandemic, it’s not just about your safety, it’s about the welfare of the general population. Please do your part and get vaccinated whenever it’s available. We will be living with COVID19 for years, but with our collective effort, we will soon be seeing that “ngiting wagi” behind each mask.
Resbakuna na!

I was honestly scared about vaccination. I was scared that my health would be badly affected and that it would be better to avoid it. However, after witnessing many people vaccinated are doing fine, I gained courage. Hence, I did get vaccinated. I went to the vaccination area, and everyone was helpful and accommodating. After that, I felt nothing weird. I felt normal. Afterward, I asked myself, what was I so scared of before?
And it was probably because of the details I mainly acquired from social media. And there were tons of misinformation I found there before I got vaccinated, telling people that vaccination is a hoax. In addition, after reading the news that Covid-19 infections had dropped after vaccination, I realized that being vaccinated is really important.
Therefore, to anyone who is scared to be vaccinated, don’t be. I know there is a lot of information right thrown at you but believe me, not all you hear, read or see on the internet are true. And isn’t it better to be safe than sorry? So people, save yourself and save all the people around you.#bevaccinated

It's been 3 months since my final dose and here I am--alive and kicking, still human, not a zombie.
I was hesitant to fall in line for the said vaccine due to various reasons: impatience, scorching heat, the process, and crowded site; but at the bottom line, "good health + Engr. Sarguet, cutie" pushed me to get through it and be fully vaxxed. Short-term sacrifices can't compare my long-term well-being.
Though this vaccine is not yet the cure, but it creates antibodies to fight the virus hence reduces the risk of infection. In addition, Imagine how deadly Omicron virus is, and you have a weak line of defense yet--scary! Let's get vaxxed for any moment, this deadly virus can enter and ruin our body & aspirations.
Magpaturok na tayo mga ga!
