College of Engineering Education RESEARCH DOMINANCE

Through a form of competition, RICE, or Regional Invention Contest and Exhibits, is a way of recognizing the contributions of inventions and research in national development through a form of a friendly competition with humble prizes to be won and a chance to represent their regions to the national contest in 2022. For this, handful of engineering students took the challenge under the Sibol Award for Outstanding College Student Creative Research.

The College of Engineering Education and its faculty, staff, and students are clapping their virtual hands and so proud of these winners. With the guidance and titulage of Dr. Chosel Lawagon, Engr. Stephen Paul Alagao, and Engr. Jetron Adtoon, the student-researchers were able to take home the bacon.

Again, congratulations to the winners.

PHOENIX'S DIAMOND AWARDS

The University of Mindanao's Diamond Founding Anniversary has concluded, but it is a denoument of celebration to these teachers/engineers as UM recognized their efforts, loyalty, and services. As the cherry on top, the College of Engineering Education was awarded with the highest award of the event - "MODEL COLLEGE AWARD". This is all thanks to our active and beloved College Dean, Dr. Charlito Cañesares, to our selfless and supportive Administrative Assistant (AA), Ma'am Frida Dagatan, and to our passion-driven teachers/faculty. Again, thank you and congratulations. You all deserve more than a tap on your shoulders.
