After a month of preparation, the College of Engineering Education - College Student Government (CEE-CSG) was successful in conducting the Turnover Ceremony to the Tribal Hall of Bagobo Tagabawa Council of Elders in Brgy. Catigan, Davao City, led by Datu Lawrence Bayocboc, the Traditional Tribal Chieftain. With the benevolent hearts of CEE-CSG Officers and Volunteers, they shared their time, efforts, and availability in this momentous community extension/outreach project entitled PAHIMAKAS 2022: A BAG OF LITTLE HOPE.

An orientation happened at BE208 between the CEE-CSG and Office of the Community Extension Center (CEC). This orientation focuses on the goals and importance of community activities and how engagements like these that promotes and highlights the core values of the university. In the orientation, the do's and dont's were also discussed.
In line with our Community Outreach Initiative as part of of our year-end project entitled "PAGHIMAKAS 2022 - A Bag of Little Hope", we are in so much joy to have several volunteers who extended their helping and gracious hands in this philanthropic cause of our college last June 8, 2022. These volunteers helped in packing our bag consisting of basic commodities. From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to express our utmost gratitude to these student-volunteers from our college. It only shows that volunteerism manifests outflowing kindness and we are hoping to see more of these humanitarian act from our college.

As we prepare for our PAGHIMAKAS 2022: A CEE-CSG Community Extension - A Bag of Little Hope, we called for volunteers and we are so glad and happy that many students answered the call and are willing to join the cause. The College of Engineering Education - College Student Government (CEE-CSG) is joyfully overwhelmed to launch its Community Extension Project entitled PAGHIMAKAS 2022: A CEE-CSG Community Extention Project - "A BAG OF LITTLE HOPE", this is to select barangays in Davao City included in the Low Employment Index. As pandemic hits us and we are currentlt coping, we would like to be an agent of source of inspiration and to help in a little way.
In this project, there will be three barangays to be chosen and each will receive 100 packs for 100 families. That includes 2 kilos of rice, canned goods, instant noodles, essential goods, etc. The money utilized and used for this project was a portion from the collection in our College Souvenir Shirt.
