The PHOENIX has been a mythical emblem for millennia and across many civilizations. A bird with vividly colored plumage and instead of dying, it burns itself up in its own pyre and is triumphantly resurrected with all of its strength and glory from its own ashes.
College life is difficult enough as it is, let alone being unable to perform physical lessons. The reality that we are currently confronted in this moment serves as guidance. Academic stress, frustration, and weariness are all too common in our lives. As a result, we suffer procrastination and cramming on a constant basis. We stumble and fall to the ground, but we emerge from the ashes, better, stronger, and more courageous than before.
The College of Engineering Education - College Student Government (CEE-CSG) is the official organization for the College of Engineering Education (CEE) in the University of Mindanao.
VELOCITY, in physics, is a physical vector quantity that describes the speed of an object at a given direction. It is a widely used engineering and scientific concept since it is essential and ever-present everyday scenarios.
In a deeper etymological context, the word "velocity" can be understood as a fundamental thought which is deeply rooted in the actual realities of our world today. Its concept heavily embodies the current situation of millions of people across the world that we are bombarded with countless adversities that tested how far can we go (distance) and to always look forward for healing and recovery through the signs of time.
We, the CEE-CSG 2021-2022, will open another book "VeloCEEty" and write new stories of resilience and hardwork. All of these, with collaborative effort and shared passion, everything is feasible.
Stay tuned as the new CEE-CSG 2021-2022 uncovers productive and fun-filled programs and initiatives to make our college life holistic, memorable, and fun!

The premier engineering school in the region with its Electrical Engineering Program, and the first to be granted Level IV Accreditation by PACUCOA.
The Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering programs of the College are granted Center of Development (COD) status by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
The University’s membership to the elite ASEAN International Mobility of Students (AIMS) Program is because of the standards highly recognized by other topnotch engineering institutions in the ASEAN region; thus being granted sole representation of Mindanao by the CHED.

ACCELERATION is the increasing rate of velocity of a body in motion. It denotes vector progression, going faster and higher over time.
In essence, acceleration is defined by progress, improvement, an upward journey of success, a hint of optimism and positive attitude that engineers, past, present, and future alike, must possess.
With the opening of the new semester comes new, more difficult challenges. We must therefore not stay at our current speed, but rather rise up, improved and more prepared with the concepts and theories we learned. Much more than that, we must have improved attitude towards our dreams, evermore so vigorous to reach our aspirations, eager to excel in class and in the fields.

The UM College of Engineering Education College Student Government continues to push forward in advancing the university life of our students. With only two months left before the end of the Academic Year 2021-2022, UM CEE-CSG remains committed to deliver student services that will make the university experience of every student memorable.
In the remaining two months before the current administration ends, the UM CEE-CSG is set to conduct two final projects that will develop the holistic transformation of our students, and will help you in your current and future undertakings. Let us partake in SYNTAX 2022: Phoenix's Mastery of Calculation Techniques (MAY 2022) and learn new techniques on the manipulation and shortcuts of the Scientific Calculator, one of the most essential weapons of engineers. Finally, we look beyond the confines of our university and reach the extended communities of society, and help those who need us through PAGHIMAKAS 2022: A CEE-CSG Community Extension Project - A Bag Of Little Hope (JUNE 2022).
As we continue to serve in the remaining months of our administration, we celebrate the achievements we have in this journey, and look back to where we came from, the poCEEtion where it all began. Together, we continue to reach new heights, and strengthen our unity.
