Following Anthology's Trustworthy AI Approach, the Blackboard AI Design Assistant is now available in the Ultra interface. This tool can inspire faculty looking to refresh or design the online portion of a course by making suggestions for course structure, images, test questions, and rubrics. Soon, it will also generate suggestions for discussion and journal prompts. You can review the Anthology support tutorials, view a demonstration for the TCC Online Learning Committee, or attend a hands-on working session on either Thursday, December 5th @ 2:00 pm or Friday, January 9th @ 1:00 pm. Please reserve your seat by completing this online registration form. This session might be an excellent way to explore the AI Design Assistant and the Ultra interface.
New Blackboard courses for Fall 2023 will automatically be added in Instructor Choice view. That means you will be able to choose whether to continue using Blackboard Original for your course or change it to Ultra to preview it. Don't worry--if you don't like Ultra, you can change it back! You can learn about Instructor Choice view in our Knowledge Base article "Using Instructor Choice view to preview Ultra."
Online Learning has added an Ultra Cheat Sheet to our Knowledge Base. You'll find links to information directly from Blackboard, as well as links to our own Ultra articles as we add them.
