Respondus- Allowing Testing in the Testing Center
Step One:
To give students the option to either take the exam with a webcam or in a proctored testing lab, select Either Respondus Monitor or a proctored lab can be used to take this exam. A test password will then be required to access the test (for use in proctored settings).
Step Two
If you choose the option for the exam to be delivered in a proctored setting, you have to set a password. PLEASE NOTE: If the student is at home using a webcamera, they will not be asked for a password – assuming they are accessing the test through the Respondus Lockdown browser
Step Three
Once you set your exam to allowlproctored testing, follow the directions to schedule. Scheduling the exam is a secure means of providing the password and describing the testing conditions to the testing center staff
