Narratives of Color
Narratives of Color is a safe space for young people of color in the Tam District who identify as womxn, girls, or non-binary to come together, share their experiences, gain tools of reflection, identity, communication, and support towards empowerment and full expression.
When there isn't space for us, we make the space we need through the magic of connection and sisterhood.
Join Miss Amber Allen-Peirson, a highly skilled black-bi-racial-woman-healer and facilitator, to build space for the stories of our experiences so they can be clear for us and our community.

We will sharpen our supreme skills of precision focus and discernment in order to craft and realize maximum potential. Let’s build the Tam chapter of The Heirs Society together and stand tall. ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE.

Alateen
Alateen is Al-Anon for kids, ages 12 – 19. Al-Anon is for friends and family of addicts and problem drinkers. We believe alcoholism and addiction is a disease that not only affects those suffering with alcoholism, but also those who love them.
Al-Anon is a program of recovery that uses the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. That said, we do not work to help people with sobriety. We work with the loved ones of the alcoholics to find their own pace and support, whether the drinker or substance abuser is sober or not.
Marin group meets Sundays at 6 pm

About our weekly Alateen Zoom meeting
The Alateen group is organized and led by Alateen teenagers.
The meeting is attended by two adult Al-Anon sponsors who have passed an FBI background check.
The adult members are there to ensure safety and behavioral guidelines are followed.
While using Zoom, we follow safety guidelines to keep out anyone who is not a teenager looking for recovery.
It can be extremely difficult to negotiate the often-contradictory emotions that accompany a suicide loss, and finding support in negotiating these feelings can seem like an impossible task.
