Youth Leadership Institute officially launched in Marin County in 1991. The goal was to do youth development differently– by believing that young people are a part of the solution and not the problem.

10,000 Degrees helps students from low-income backgrounds get to and through college in order to positively impact their communities and the world.

Their mission is to boost the academic proficiency and college attendance of Marin City and other low income youth of color by working in partnership to promote a community culture.

Bridge the Gap provides comprehensive educational, social, and emotional support with the goal that every Marin City youth completes high school and graduates from college.
