- Homework is given on Friday’s and is to be handed in on the following Friday.
- Children are responsible for always keeping their homework folder clean and tidy. The folder should always be in the backpack
- All classes will have a reading homework with a reading log. Reading log template will be provided in the book for reading logs. This book must always be in the homework folder.
- In PYP 1 and 2, homework will generally not exceed 15 minutes per day.
- In PYP 3 to 6, homework will generally not exceed 15 – 30 minutes per day.
- Homework will not be given during vacation periods.
- Homework is set by the homeroom/subject teacher. Besides reading, homework may consist of:
- Simple reinforcement tasks associated with classroom activities.
- Gathering information or materials.
- Finishing classroom activities.
