ICT


  • The school incorporates laptops and tablets as part of teaching and learning. Students must respect all school property, including digital devices. Students, with parents, are responsible for ICT equipment in their use. If ICT equipment is lost, vandalised or damaged, parents are held financially responsible.
  • As a general rule, students do not bring their own digital devices to school. Exceptions can be made on a case by case basis by Head of Programme. The school is not liable to damages of own devices.
  • It is not permitted to use the school's computers or computer networks to download, read, store or disseminate pornographic, racist, violent or offensive material, and / or material that violates Norwegian law. Visiting gambling sites or playing online gambling is not allowed. It is also not allowed to order goods or services online via the school's computer network.
  • The school's computers and computer networks should only be used for school work. Other software or files than those specifically intended for school work should not be installed or downloaded.
  • The student must not change the layout of the machine.
  • During school hours, it is not allowed to listen to music, play, chat or surf freely on the Internet without this being agreed with the teacher.
  • Violation of the ICT regulations may result in the student losing the right to use the school's computers, computer equipment, software and / or computer networks for a period, including assessment periods / days.
  • Violations of the ICT regulations will result in behaviou marks.
  • The school strives to keep printing to a minimum.
