Shea'nea Kham came to Fyrefall because she didn't fit in elsewhere, which is hardly unusual. What is unusual about her is that she's both a Kurgus and a Priestess of Zelia, The First Pantheon's Goddess of Life and Fertility, which is both almost unheard of and forever marks her as an outcast among her people. Shea'nea Kham was actually born Shea'nea Harrul, a member of the Harrul clan, one of the most proud and storied of the 106 Kurgus clans, who claim the greatsword as their weapon of specialty. However young Shea never took to the blade as her kin did, nor did she ever truly resonate with the teachings of Kanyeyama. out of concern, her family sent her away from the clan, to study at a temple of the Second Pantheon in the city, it would lead to a spiritual awakening for her, but not the kinds they had hoped. Shea was exposed to the teachings of the Goddess Zelia, who's followers preached love, acceptance and pacifism, and for the first time felt she had found a cause she could throw herself behind. She threw herself fully into the Life-mothers faith, and by the time she returned to her family was an ordained priest. Shea's family and the Harrul clan were shocked and appalled. She had broken their greatest cultural taboo, spitting in the face of the Kurgus' progenitor by offering worship to the gods that had once forced him to labor on their behalf. when it was found she had fallen even further by learning the powers of Divine Spark enough was enough, she was called before the clan's leaders and as tradition dictated, each one swore an oath that they or their descendants would hunt down and kill her if she ever dared to call herself Shea'nea Harrul again. From now on she was Shea'nea Kham, Her clan name replaced with the outcast's name, marking her as one to be shunned and reviled (but keeping her family name, nea , a way to shame her family for failing to raise her properly) and thus she was cast out with nothing but the clothes on her back.
Shea bore her exile with the stoicism of a true holy woman, however privately it's always eaten at her, some naïve part of her had hoped that perhaps her family and clan could accept her different worldview, which made almost everyone everyone in her life suddenly turning on her all the more painful. She came to Fyrefall to forget her pain, eventually becoming the De-facto leader of followers of the First Pantheon in the city, as well as one of it's most accomplished practitioners of Divine Spark, her skill at healing always in high demand. Running from her past worked for a time, But the recent arrival of the Yayara Clan in Fyrefall has reopened old wounds for her, and their presence may inflame tensions between followers of the Gods and Titans within Fyrefall.
