Calling the Lost Ones an "organization" is a stretch, since most of them probably can't even spell the word, but its as good a term as any to describe a loose coalition of orphans and street kids. Since it's explosion in population in the past half century, Fyrefall, like all cities, has maintained a steady population of people, especially children, who have been more or less left behind by society. this is especially true in the Cinderlands, where there are a hundred and one ways for a parent seeking money for their children, whether as an adventurer miner, or logger, to lose their lives in the unforgiving wilderness. despite many attempts by the cities good Samaritans over the years, plans to solve the problem in an official capacity have always fizzled out. thankfully for the forgotten youths of Fyrefall, in recent years a sort of support network- the Lost Ones has coalesced around a charismatic leader, Belluma Flowerblossom, a driven young Sintilli and natural figurehead. The Lost Ones may be young, in both the age of the organization and its members, but they've quickly established themselves among Fyrefall's movers and shakers. The Lost Ones don't have any grand objectives or occult traditions- they're disadvantaged kids who've realized the benefits of having each other's backs, they priorities revolve mainly around the wellbeing of their members making sure everyone -especially the younger kids who can't take care of themselves- have food and a place to sleep. in order to do this they take odd jobs share information with each other about things like who in town can be counted on to be generous and who cant, and even engage is some morally dubious activities such as scams, pickpocketing and petty theft. by far their biggest operation however, and the things thats made them worthy of note in the first place- is their lucrative trade in information. For better or for worse, people send to dismiss street urchins out of hand, and as result they tend to be able to move around cities unnoticed, and perhaps hear more than they should. The Lost Ones have all kinds of information many people are willing to pay good coin for. At the Docks, they watch the comings and goings and eavesdrop on conversations while doing odd jobs, gaining information about the activities of both the Ullyun and the Separi, selling out each's plans to the other for the right price, they've even helped the city guard solve a few cases in the past. Recently however, the lost ones may have learned a bit to much- they've seen strange men in black robes entering and leaving the graveyard in the late hours of the night (acolytes of the Withered Flame) and now street kids have started disappearing with no signs of where they went.
