Rat's Nest is, simply put, where the poor and unfortunate of Fyrefall reside. wedged between the briny piers and fishmarkets of the docks, and the burning heat and choking smoke of the Furnace (the name for Fyrefalls forge and manufacturing district), It's a grimy, smelly place to live and few do so by choice. the district was named by members of the upper class, a bald faced insult directed at the "slum dwellers" however the residents of Rat's Nest chose to embrace the name as a show of defiance. Perhaps the most notable thing about Rat's nest today is it's status as a hotbed for The Lost Ones, and they outright have the run of some areas where the young outnumber the old. It's here they retreat when they invetitably get caught stealing from a market stall of pickpocketing, loosing their pursuers in the tangles of alleys and backstreets only they seem to be able to navigate.
