Who joins JALT? Is JALT for you?

Our members come from various backgrounds. There are public school teachers (all levels), private language teachers, university lecturers, researchers, and more. We welcome you, regardless of your teaching situation, to join us and help further expand diversity among our members.

ＪＡＬＴの会員は小中高等学校の教員をはじめ、プライベートの英語講師、大学教授から研究者など多岐に渡っています。また、語学教育に興味をお持ちの方は、どなたでもご参加いただけます。

Do you like to mingle with, and learn from fellow teachers?

Get discounted admission to the international conference, and discounted or free admission to various other JALT events. JALT is a great opportunity for networking and socializing, too.

Want tips and teaching ideas?

Members receive a copy of The Language Teacher six times a year. It is filled with lesson ideas and teaching theory. You’ll also get the research-based JALT Journal twice a year.

ＪＡＬＴ会員は、特集記事や教授法に関する記事、書評、会合に関する情報、就職情報を掲載したＪＡＬＴの隔月刊誌、The Language Teacher と実用的かつ論理的な記事や研究報告を掲載した年2回発行のJALT Journal が送付されます。

日本国内在住の方の年会費

• 個人会員（1年）13000円

• 個人会員（5年）52000円

• ジョイント会員（2名一組）1名につき10500円

• 学生会員7000円（国内の全日制の短期大学、大学または大学院の学生／斉学証明書必須）

• シニア会員 7000円（65歳以上の方

• グループ会員（勤務先が同一の個人5名以上が集まった場合、出版物は1グループに一部送付されます。）1名につき8500円

• 年会費に1分野の研究部会費が含まれます。複数の分野の研究部会に参加可能ですが、2分野以上の研究部に参加を希望する場合、１分野につき、研究部会費が2000円かかります。（JALT会員のみ入会可能）

Annual membership fees:

▪ Full membership (one-year): 13,000 yen

▪ Full membership (five years): 52,000 yen

▪ Joint membership (for 2 people who share the same address): 10,500 yen per person

▪ Group membership (for a group of 5 or more): 8,500 yen per person

[one copy of each publication is sent to the group address]

▪ Local membership (one-year, valid in Tottori only): 5,000 yen

▪ SIGs (Special Interest Groups): Membership in one SIG is included in membership fees. You can join extra SIGs at 2,000 yen for each additional SIG
