Purpose of the Organization   All activities of the group focus on 'interest development' and 'self-discipline training,' with the goal of instilling the values of 'cultivating knowledge, strengthening the body, acquiring skills, and serving others.' This aims to nurture well-rounded and responsible citizens, ultimately in pursuit of 'truth' and the promotion of world peace. 

Club Expertise    

1. Skills: Scout knowledge, first aid, camping, fire-making and cooking, communication, nature exploration, tool use, orientation and estimation, knot-tying, self-awareness. 

2. Abilities: Activity planning and execution, proposal writing, interpersonal communication and interaction, teamwork and collaboration, professional development and career planning.  

3. Recreation: Singing, dancing, playing games, fireball and fire stick training, and giving back activities. 

Club Vision  

1. Internal Goals: Strive to create a more harmonious atmosphere within the group and encourage members to advance in their Scouting journey, aiming for personal and group achievements. 

2.External Goals: 

(1) Support and encourage members to participate in international exchange activities to broaden their global perspectives. 

(2) Promote the unique activities of our group throughout the Greater Taipei area and neighboring counties across Taiwan to enhance our visibility.

Certification Requirements   

1. Members are required to pay the annual membership fee to become official members. This semester, members can participate in up to 11 activities. 

Full participation in Tamkang University Scout Group’s 113th New Member Camp on 9/21-22 qualifies for one participation credit. 

Blood Donation Service I on 10/2-3: 3 hours of service qualifies for one participation credit. 

Full participation in the Group Anniversary Camp on 10/5-6 qualifies for one participation credit. 

Full participation in the Fall Training Camp on 11/16-17 qualifies for one participation credit. 

Blood Donation Service II on 12/10-11: 3 hours of service qualifies for one participation credit. 

Full participation in the Christmas Gift Exchange on 12/17 qualifies for one participation credit. 

Full participation in the Fire Dance Performance on 12/19 qualifies for one participation credit. 

Full participation in the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Tamkang University Scout Group on 12/21 qualifies for one participation credit. 

Full participation in the 52nd ETC Induction Training Camp on 1/14-19 qualifies for one participation credit. 

Additionally, there are Tuesday and Thursday club sessions on 9/24, 10/3, 8, 17, 22, 11/21, 26, 12/5, and 12/10. Participation in five sessions qualifies for one participation credit. 

Participation in the Taipei Grand Hike on 11/23 and 12/7: attending both qualifies for one participation credit. 

2. To become an official member, up to 4 execution certifications may be earned this semester. 

Blood Donation Service I on 10/2-3: 8 hours of service qualifies for one execution certification (choose between participation and execution). 

Serving as staff at the Fall Training Camp on 11/16-17 qualifies for one execution certification. 

Blood Donation Service II on 12/10-11: 8 hours of service qualifies for one execution certification (may combine hours with Blood Donation Service I on 10/2-3, but choose between participation and execution). 

Participation in the Fire Dance Performance on 12/19 qualifies for one execution certification.
