As INTASC Standard 10 has to deal with ledership and collaboration, a big aspect of that is the ability to plan. What better way is ther eto plan for the future than a vision board? For my vision board, each corner represents a unique step of my process as I become an educator. The very first corner (Upper Left) displays Indiana State University images. In addition the Bayh College of Education is displayed as it is the college I will be going to. The next corner displays child psychology, pedagogy, and my confliction between educating elementary students or secondary mathematics students. The third corner shows what it will be like as I student teach and create my own lessons in my ed classes. Finally the last corner (Bottom Right) shows the hips and ideologies that will shape my life and classroom as an educator.
Collaboration with parents is oftentimes the largest issue teachers have with teaching general. There is a direct relationship between how much a parent cares about their child's education and how much that student cares about their own education. In order to ensure that a classroom runs smoothly and issues are avoided, good communication and collaboration with parents must be maintained.
