đ§đŠ Dhaka, Bangladesh â No one is trying to reach them.
They are the Never Reached.
đ The nations in the 10/40 Window.Â
ⳠA Place Time Forgot⌠and the Church Often Overlooks
Shining a light where the Gospel has never gone before
Imagine a land where:
There are no Bibles to read.
No Christians to talk to.
No churches to attend.
No preachers to hear.
No Christian broadcasts on radio or TV.
Not even a single missionary in sight.
No one is trying to reach them.
They are the Never Reached.
This isn't the setting for a fictional nightmareâit's the harsh reality facing over 3.2 billion people on Earth, right now.Â
Their spiritual darkness is not by choiceâitâs by circumstance. Theyâve simply never heard.
This land has a name: The 10/40 Window.
Itâs a rectangular region located between 10 and 40 degrees north latitude, encompassing parts of North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Itâs also known as the "Resistant Belt."
Here are the sobering facts:
Over 3.2 billion people live in unreached people groups (UPGs), the vast majority within the 10/40 Window.
There are over 7,400 UPGs worldwideâgroups where fewer than 2% are evangelical Christians.
This region is home to the majority of the worldâs Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, and those who identify as non-religious.
Though the Window covers just one-third of the worldâs land area, nearly two-thirds of the worldâs population lives there.
80% of the poorest people on earth live here, surviving on less than a few hundred dollars per year.
Most have no access to a Bible, Christian radio, church, or believer.
In this massive harvest field, people are born, live, and die without ever hearing the name of Jesus.
No missionary.
No church.
No gospel broadcast.
No Scripture in their language.
How will they ever believeâif theyâve never even heard?
Their lives pass in silence.
No voice telling them about Jesus.
No cross in sight.
No church bell.
No preacher's voice.
Just the hush of spiritual death.
Imagine a mother in a remote Himalayan village. Sheâs never heard the name Jesus. Not once. She raises her children, lights incense to stone idols, and prays to gods that cannot save.
Or a young man in North Africaâfaithful in daily prayers to Allah, unaware that the true Son of God came, died, and rose again to redeem him. He doesnât reject the Gospel⌠because heâs never heard it.
This isnât just a tragedyâitâs an emergency.
"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? "
âRomans 10:14
That verse echoes like a divine cry through the 10/40 Window.
They cannot call.
They cannot believe.
They cannot hearâunless someone goes.
đ Look at that pulpit. It stands silent and empty.Â
Thereâs no one to preach. No missionary in sight. Not even a single Christian nearby.Â
This is the reality for most people in the 10/40 Window.
How will they know about Jesus⌠if no one tells them?

Heavenly Father,
Our hearts are stirred by the great need and overwhelming numbers of those who have never heard Your Name. You see themâthe unreached in villages, cities, mountains, deserts, and islands. You know every face, every name, every heartbeat.
Lord of the harvest, send out laborers into Your fields. Awaken in us a holy urgency to pray, to give, to go, and to speak boldly the Good News of Jesus Christ. Break our hearts for what breaks Yours.
Equip us, O God, with courage, compassion, and unwavering faith. May we be faithful to Your call, obedient to Your Word, and fueled by the power of the Holy Spirit. Use us to shine Your light into the darkest places, that the NEVER REACHED might one day lift their voices in praise to You.
In Jesus' powerful and saving Name, we pray,
Amen.
