DREAMers on Grounds (DoG)
DREAMers on Grounds is a student organization that strives to create a more inclusive environment and an overall safe for undocumented students through education and advocacy. We strive to foster an understanding in the UVa and Greater Charlottesville community about the unique issues and challenges facing undocumented persons. We are committed to having strong ties with the University administration in order to provide students with the necessary resources to make their experiences a successful one.
Events include:
- UndocuAlly Trainings: Learn how you can be an active ally to the undocumented community by coming to one of our many UndocuAlly Trainings.
- DREAM Week: Occurs every year towards the end of March. During this week, the executive board plans a variety of events to bring light to specific challenges faced by undocumented people, ranging from UndocuAlly Trainings to documentary screenings.

CIRAC (Charlottesville Immigrant Resource and Advocacy Coalition)
Mission: The Charlottesville-area Immigrant Resource and Advocacy Coalition is a network of individuals and organizations formed to support and protect our immigrant neighbors, particularly those facing discrimination, detention, and deportation. We recognize that criminalizing and removing immigrants is nothing new, but rather a consistent pattern in U.S. history. It is also clear that these forms of violence are tied to two centuries of American political and economic intervention in Latin America and the Caribbean.
