There is a lot of chatter on the timeline hinting towards a new album from Zayn. He recently posted on Instagram saying he had “some stuff” to show us “soon.” While we love the picture of the back tattoos, we are hoping for some new music as well. Although, he may just want to show us his child. Either way, we’ll be happy with either. On September 22 Zayn changed his twitter profile picture and gave us a stunning view of his tattoo of Gigi’s eyes on his Spotify. It has been about 2 years since he released his second album, Icarus Falls. We can only imagine all the lyrical magic he has come up within the time since. Though this is all speculation, we keep our fingers crossed.
UPDATE: Zayn surprised the fandom with announcing a new single, “Better”. It will premiere on Youtube on September 25th at 12 am EST. This is hopefully the beginning of a new era bringing us lots of new music and content!
UPDATE: Zayn has confirmed that they had a beautiful baby girl! She is healthy and was born recently. He posted a heartfelt tweet on September 23rd featuring her little hand wrapped in his. The love he feels for her is “beyond [his] understanding.” We are so happy for Zayn and Gigi and their lovely daughter. We know they’ll be amazing parents.

Zayn gave half of the world a heart attack by dropping his single, “Better”, out of the blue. I’m sure you tuned in if you could, if not be sure to go check it out. Zayn kicked off his Z3 era with an upbeat melody and interesting music video. It opens with Zayn laying down on a couch, shirtless in someone’s living room. The intro is almost tropical, sounding kind of like a ukulele. This song is perfect for 2 am drives through the empty streets with it blasting through the speakers. As the camera pans out we see that he now has red hair. Zayn loves to try wacky colors with his hair, and we love that about him! He also has new earrings that compliment the whole look. As the video progresses he puts on more clothes until we see him in a suit. Somehow he looks more put together after 2 and a half minutes then I do after hours of primping. Throughout the video, we see clips of people listening in or watching him, leading us to believe that he is setting up a narrative that he will continue to reveal throughout the era. We are excited to see where this goes and will keep you updated!
