Icarus Falls

With this album, Zayn has really said that he doesn't care about what others think. With a whopping 27 tracks, Icarus Falls has a diverse mix of upbeat bops, soothing melodies, and overall amazing songs. “Dusk Till Dawn” and “Good Years” are some of the more prevalent songs. “Dusk Till Dawn” made it onto the radio and reached #5 on the charts. The album itself has crossed 2 billion streams on Spotify. Due to unknown issues, much of the album hasn’t been marketed very well, making fewer vinyls and CDs than expected. Zayn is open but doesn’t state the obvious. You really have to listen to what he’s saying in order to figure out the real meaning sometimes. Believe me, he isn’t singing about gasoline. A seemingly constant theme in the album is dealing with toxic people and choosing to stay true to himself. Be sure to listen to “Flight of the Stars”, it is truly transcendent featuring Zayn’s amazing vocals and beats.
