Sailstice in Second Life

Summer Sailstice in Second Life began as a resident‑driven virtual sailing celebration and grew into a major annual festival through community passion, multi‑sim support from Linden Lab, and the work of dedicated organisers, all aligned with the same core ideas as the real-world Sailstice.

Over several years the Nautical Expo evolved into the Festival of the Oceans, a large‑scale nautical expo featuring sailing events, vendors, performances, and collaborative builds — all aligned with the real‑world Summer Sailstice.
