Our Ethos

• The Festival Of The Oceans is about community and is dedicated to and for all who live in, sail upon or under, fly over, or simply have a love of Second Life's magnificent oceans and waterways

• It commits to being a free event, where no charge is made to exhibitors wishing to take part or anyone wishing to attend as a visitor

• It seeks to support and encourage upcoming creatives no matter what stage they may be in their creative journey, by showcasing their work

• Its cornerstones are tolerance, mutual support and respect between all Second Life citizens, and the encouragement of learning and skills by those seeking it

• Exhibitors are free to sell or give away any product that is their own creation, with the exception of any item that breaches Second Life's Terms Of Service (TOS) or is of a sexual nature

• Performers are free to set out their own tip-jars

• The event is nonpartisan.  There is no place for politics in The Festival Of The Oceans
