Cake Setup Policy — The Dream Pie(TDP)

Effective Date: 25.02.2026

This Cake Setup Policy applies to large, multi-tier, structural, or specialized cakes that require on-site assembly, installation, or use of equipment at the venue.

1️⃣ Applicability

This policy applies to orders that involve:

• Large or multi-tier cakes
  
  

• Cakes requiring on-site assembly
  
  

• Structural or display cakes
  
  

• Use of stands, platforms, separators, or support equipment
  
  

• Cakes requiring specialized handling or installation
  
  

2️⃣ Setup Schedule

Cake setup will be carried out strictly at the scheduled delivery or setup time agreed upon at the time of order confirmation.

Customers must ensure that:

• Venue access is available
  
  

• Setup area is ready and clean
  
  

• Necessary permissions are arranged
  
  

• Responsible person is present for coordination
  
  

3️⃣ Waiting Time at Venue

The Delivery/Setup Executive will wait for a maximum of 30 minutes from the scheduled setup time.

If setup cannot be completed within this period due to customer-side delays (such as lack of access, unprepared venue, or absence of responsible personnel), the team may leave the venue with the order.

4️⃣ Delay Charges & Rescheduling

Delays beyond the scheduled time will attract additional charges, calculated from the originally agreed setup time.

Any extended waiting, rescheduling, or return visit will be subject to:

• Additional fees
  
  

• Operational feasibility
  
  

• Availability of the setup team
  
  

The Dream Pie reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to approve or decline setup after such delays.

5️⃣ On-Site Assembly of Large Cakes

Certain cakes are transported in parts for safety and assembled at the venue.

Once assembly is completed:

• Responsibility for the cake transfers to the customer or event organizer
  
  

• TDP is not liable for damage caused by movement, handling, or environmental conditions thereafter
  
  

6️⃣ Equipment & Stand Usage

If stands, platforms, separators, or other equipment are provided:

• Such items remain the property of The Dream Pie
  
  

• They must be returned in the same condition
  
  

Additional terms may apply:

• Refundable security deposit (if applicable)
  
  

• Collection schedule to be coordinated
  
  

• Charges for loss, damage, or non-return
  
  

TDP reserves the right to recover the cost of unreturned or damaged equipment.

7️⃣ Environmental Conditions

Customers must ensure suitable conditions for setup, including:

• Stable table or platform
  
  

• Adequate space
  
  

• Protection from heat, sunlight, wind, or moisture
  
  

• Proper indoor conditions where required

• Proper  Temperature
  
  

TDP shall not be responsible for damage due to unsuitable environmental factors.

8️⃣ Completion of Setup

Once the cake has been placed and setup is completed:

• Responsibility transfers to the customer or venue authority
  
  

• No further adjustments may be possible without additional charges
  
  

9️⃣ Discretion of The Dream Pie

All decisions regarding setup feasibility, delays, additional charges, equipment handling, or refusal to proceed after delays are solely at the discretion of The Dream Pie.

🔟 Customer Acknowledgement

By placing an order requiring on-site setup, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this Cake Setup Policy.
