The company, thEating Inc., is a startup company which named as thEating Inc. (Chinese name: 樂宜亭智能家電股份有限公司), it was founded at March, 2018 by Dr. BinVa Chang and Ms. Ivy Tseng. This company dedicates on designing, producing and applying of intelligent appliances in smart houses via IOT system. The vision of this company is “to lead the advancement of smart houses through a creative technology for getting a comfortable and convenient living”, and its core values are “4HER”, that is to be Honest, Hard, Humble, Health, Excellent, and Responsibility, respectively. What’s the first thing to this company? It is to solve the problem of rice cooking without automatic and remote control. It’s a good chance and challenge for this company to innovate its first product “a water dispenser with intelligent rice cooker” (named as WDIRC/iCooger^®), and its second product WDIRC with grinding (WDIRC+G). Both they had granted of patent from Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, USA, Canada, Australia and Thailand, Malaysia and India both countries's patent are under examination and that will be granted soon. In other words, the company had an exclusive market to sell its product WDIRC and WDIRC+G in these patented countries.

Initiated of WDIRC idea, the idea of an automatic rice cooker with function of water dispenser was initiated in the lab of veterinary, NCHU, Taiwan. At that time, Ms. T. Y. Tseng give the funder a lot of suggestions and opinions for enriching the function of WDIRC.

2010

Applying three patents to TIPO, in that year, the funder applied three inventions to TIPO, that were AB towel (Utility, AppNum: 099214362), Plug cover with DC charger to cell phones (Utility, AppNum: 100202630) and Image acquisition algorithm to foods in a meal (Invention, AppNum: 099146965).

2011

• Applying two patents to TIPO, the one was embedded universal pressure cover (Invention, AppNum: 100121856), and the other one was the device of water dispenser with intelligent rice cooker (WDIRC, Invention, AppNum: 100110329, 100128561) to TIPO.

• Applying the patent of 2x1 WDIRC to JIPO(AppNum:2011-240136), KIPO (AppNum:1020110120672), SIPO (AppNum:2011102616033), USPTO(AppNum: 13/274,361) in the late of that year, the funder applied this invention to the mention above countries (Japan, South Korea, China and USA) and citied the priority to the TIPO’s application.
