SERVER INFORMATION

Below are the general expectations & rules for The Jedi Order Discord server. It is recommended to refer to pinned messages in the different Discord text channels to see their expectations & be updated on any new rules.

DISCORD USERNAMES

Your Discord server nickname should not have any non-essential characters in it (unnecessary letters, emojis, symbols, etc). Using symbols like ! or [] to make your name on top of the online list will result in punishment.
- Discord usernames are required to have your main rank before your name. Divisional ranks may only come after your main name format.
  - Jedi Masters, Jedi Councillors, and the Master of the Order are required to have the name "Master (name)" as their name format.
- You are not allowed to abbreviate your rank's name nor add "Jedi" before it.
- You are allowed to shorten names to some extent, although it must include the main part of your ROBLOX username. (Not display names).

Examples of acceptable nicknames:
- Master MuhrizSenko | General
- Master MuhrizSenko | Forebearer
- Master MuhrizSenko | FB/General

TEXT CHANNELS

Each text-channel in the TJO Discord server serves a purpose and all members are to utilize these channels appropriately.

If you cannot type in a certain channel that means you do not have the necessary role where you can have access to it.

Basic Server Rules

Be mindful of what you say; you are responsible for any actions/words you engage in.
Content and remarks consisting of NSFW, derogatory, discriminative (hateful), or offensive verbiage is not tolerated.
In no situation should you spam any text-channel for any reason. (this includes mass/spam pinging others & sending duplicate messages unnecessarily).
Side-chat is not allowed in any text-channels if it has no relevance to the channel's purpose.
Please read all the pinned message of each channel to ensure that you are using the channel properly.
Mini moderation is not allowed, only Master+ are permitted to moderate. If you see something happen, contact a Master+ to handle it.

Discord Bot Usage

All bot commands must be sent in #bot_commands.

Music Bot (FredBoat) rules:

- What you play on FredBoat must be actual music.
- No music or audio should be ear-r#pe (bass boosted music, etc.)
- In no case can you skip a song that is not yours. If you want to skip a song, do ;;vs
- Songs should not be over 8 minutes long.

As a Discord Partner, we observe the following guidelines provided by Discord.

VOICE CHANNELS

All voice chats can be found in our Community Voice category in the TJO Discord server. Members are allowed the privilege to be able to communicate with others so long as they follow the listed and mentioned rules above and below this page.

Do not repeatedly join and leave a Voice Channel.
No mic spamming (repeatedly muting/unmuting etc), loud and obnoxious noises, and unnecessary other noises.
When in a Voice Channel, follow the General Rules and Server Rules (can be found in #server-rules) as expected.
